yesterday when the sun was setting, went out for a walk in the dessert like every other day. chose a different direction and walked out about a mileor so in search of snakes lizards anything of interest. i saw a big tree. th only one around so i walked to it. when i was closer i could see there was something hanging from it. getting closer i started to notice thick clumps of fur in the sand. i didnt really make the connection till i noticed the littered bones. the thing that was hanging from a thick piece of rope was what i think was part of a goat. a bone bleached by the sun with a hunk of flesh around the lowerend. it had soft looking black fur. there were three more pieces of rope still attached to the tree. i assume from prievious saughters.
i spent 10 min looking around. i counted 9small hooves and a camel one. i found and kept a large jaw bone two leg bones and what i think is vertebre. i only grabed ones that were really clean that time because i still had to carry it all the way home. im going to go back and take photos then prolly spend an hour digging around.
for the record.... this DEEPLY disturbed me. didnt effect my dreams though. in fact that was the first night i had no nightmares (or dreams for that matter) in months. however i collect bones so i delt with the...conflicting emotions. i suspect good art to come of this.
